Hi –
First of all, thanks to all of you who filled out the survey.
I’m speaking every day to the various people who carry the products you want. Please feel free to fill out the survey on the main page if you haven’t done so. I’ll be sure to include your wants as I go along.
That’s all in process.
Second, ok phew, the licenses, loans, architectural and construction plans are finally finished! Construction should start no later than mid-January (and hopefully earlier).

I can’t thank you enough for being so proactive in creating the type of market
that you want.
You guys rock.
Dana Precious
Owner, BoomTown Market

What kind of market is BoomTown?

BoomTown Market is locally owned and operated by me, Dana Precious.

BTM will sell everything from toilet paper and eggs to craft beer and wine. There will be deli, organic produce, meats, frozen meals and goods so you can cook at home.

There will be ‘grab and go’ foods like salads, side dishes, quiches, hot dogs, sandwiches, hot soup and stuff like that.

Honestly, I’m still figuring all that out.

Feel free to weigh in on what you want BTM to sell with the survey on the home page.

I’ll also have soda fountain drinks and coffee pots and baked goods so you can run in grab your morning caffeine and get out fast.

I’m all about sourcing local foods and a food to table approach.

Signs around the market will tell you where the food came from and what’s in it.

I’m going to do my best to be non-GMO and offer organic and gluten free options.

I’m currently renovating the BTM space located on the ground floor at 285 W. Western (it’s the tall white building across from the post office and kind of kitty corner from the Farmer’s Market). You can check out our progress because I’ll start posting photos soon!

In the meantime thank you, Muskegon.

I’ve had so much support and help since I moved back from Los Angeles to my beloved hometown.

I think you are the best people in the world.

XO Dana
